Hey Mama! Have you ever had those days where things didn’t go exactly as you planned…
You woke up a little later than usual.
You didn’t have time to get dressed until after lunch, or maybe you didn’t have time to get dressed at all.
It’s okay! Motherhood is not a race. It’s… it’s not a competition. And, shame on whoever made you feel that way. You don’t get a prize for doing as much as you can each day or going above and beyond whatever expectations you set for yourself.
Some days you do the basics.
Some days you just need to take a break.
Some days you need to sit and take it all in.
Whatever kind of day it is. That’s fine. It’s enough. You’re enough.

Stop comparing yourself to someone else. They don’t walk in your shoes. And, regardless of what some may lead you to believe, they have their own things they struggle with each day.
So, stop beating yourself up today over the pile of dishes in the sink, the piles of laundry that need to be folded, the dust you spotted on your nightstand when you woke up this morning, the floors that need to be mopped — whatever it is that you’re beating yourself up about. Stop.
Motherhood is not a competition. Motherhood is a journey. It’s a walk you take each day at your own pace, and it’s about choosing the best path for you each day.
You’re doing amazing.
And, you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be. Believe that.
