You’re Doing Your Best Mama, I Know You Are…

This whole motherhood thing, doesn’t come with an instruction manual, and that’s because there is not one right way to do it. Why? Because God gave those sweet little babies to YOU, not another mama. He gave them to YOU. And YOU my sweet friend are the only one who can love them as God intended. And that, mama is a beautiful blessing.

The “Perfect” Mom

What does that even mean? When people say it, do they even realize what they’re saying? Perfect.. Schm-erfect — there is NO SUCH THING as a perfect mom, nor will there ever be, so stop trying!

Stop Trying to be “That Mom”

So stop, mama... I beg you... please stop! Those life moments you see as you scroll are merely highlights -- the perfect highlights. The highlights she wants the world to see, not the ones she doesn't. Underneath it all, she's just like you and I: Scattered most days, unsure of how she'll make it through and a cup of coffee away from complete madness.

Today’s Agenda: Just Go With It

Stop worrying about what Facebook supermom is doing and DO YOU! Let her clean the house from top to bottom each week. Let her feed the kids a home cooked meal 3 times a day. Let her dress herself + her kids in perfectly matching outfits with a bow a top. That's what works FOR HER and NOT YOU! And, you know what?! That's ok! Your to-do list doesn't have to mimic hers — and it shouldn't because YOU are not HER.
