Hello there! Thank you so much for visiting my site and supporting me on my journey. Blogging has always been something that I’ve really wanted to do, but I always seem to come up with an excuse why I shouldn’t start… So, here I am. Finally, pulling the trigger and doing something my heart is calling me to do.
On a daily basis, I have these thoughts that just seem to pop in and out of my head, and more and more lately I’ve been thinking: I can’t be the only one who has these thoughts running around in their head. I mean, there are women.. moms.. people.. all over the world. We’re bound to have the same thoughts from time to time, right? That’s the way I see it at least.
Anyways, here’s a brief little introduction of myself… My name is Candace, and I live in small town at the very southern tip of Indiana, right smack-dab in the middle of the Midwest with my husband, Andrew and our girls, Finley and Houston (for now). I take pride in rocking a messy bun, leggings and some sort of graphic tee {see photo below for reference} virtually every single day.

And, if you were to pop in on us, you’d likely find my living room looking like it does this afternoon {see below}, thanks to a rowdy 2-year-old, a baby and a momma who just gets sick of cleaning up the same toys about a million times a day.

I am a full-time momma, and a part-time marketer, adjunct teacher, blogger, and oil dealer — you just gotta have the essentials people {learn all about my oily journey here}! I love being at home with kiddos. I wouldn’t trade it for the world, but just like those of you working mommas pulling double-duty, it’s a job… and a tiring one at that. And, we all have to have a place to let it out. So, I like to think of this as my journal… an outlet for me to get some things off my chest and decompress while my littles take a nap — hopefully longer than an hour on a good day.
My goal for this blog is to be able to relate myself as a woman.. wife.. mother.. Christian.. to others out there. Creating a space where we can talk about the REAL struggles we have each day in life + love + faith + motherhood. If I’m able to touch at least one person through my words, then I will consider what I’m doing a success. We’re all in the same boat here. Working each day to steer our “crazy” on the right path… a path of compassion and love for those journeying through life alongside us.
